My Story
Though both of Moses’ parents are still living, they are currently over sixty years old and increasingly feeble. Moses’ father was blinded by an infection several years ago, leaving the mother to manage the family’s small farm by herself. They live in the countryside of Budaka in a small, grass-thatched hut.
Before coming to New Hope, Moses rarely went to school and spent most days digging in the garden, fetching water from a well three kilometers away, and tending to the neighbor’s cow. Moses’ parents could only provide one meal a day--lunch--and were unable to pay any of Moses’ medical fees.
Moses is now under the full care of New Hope Africa Children Ministries. Moses’ dream is to finish school and become a pilot.
