Meet Felix

My Story

Felix lost both his parents to HIV/AIDS before he was old enough to remember them.  He lives with a brother and sister in his mother’s grass-thatched hut in the Nangwe slums of Busia.  His mother sells locally produced beer and earns less then $1/day.  Felix is often awoken at night by drunk locals who purchase his mother’s alcohol into the early morning hours.


Felix is in primary school  and he dreams of finishing school and becoming a primary school teacher.
