My Story
Eva’s father died of AIDS when she was ten years old. Her mother succumbed to the disease the following year. After her father died, Eva and her ailing mother went to live with Eva’s grandmother. In addition to trying to continue her studies, Eva was largely responsible for tending to her mother on the days that she was virtually incapacitated by AIDS. When her mother died, Eva was brought to New Hope.
Eva is now under our full care. She dreams of finishing school and becoming a doctor.
